Insole for rheumatics
Lunatec combi motion absorbs shear forces and helps to reduce pain.
In orthopaedic shoe engineering nora® materials of closed-cell EVA and expanded rubber are used as lift and cushioning sheets for orthopaedic shoes, above all in foot beddings and insoles. Supplemented with the matching outsole material, some orthopaedic shoes or interim and bathing shoes are made entirely from our high quality products. The optimal materials for this purpose are mostly thermoformable, including the innovative materials Lunatec motion, the compound sheets Lunatec combi, and Lunairmed, familiar throughout the sector.
Since the very outset, our goal has been above all to develop materials that simplify everyday work for the craftsman and promise stability and safety to both technician and patients alike, and to create products that in turn give rise to new properties and above all to new solutions.
The nora® materials of closed-cell EVA used in practice differ greatly depending on patient’s diagnosis, syndrome, and weight. The pedorthist decides which materials and which of their combinations are suitable from case to case.
For this purpose, there is a wide range of materials to choose from for specific cushioning, bedding, permanently resilient, and stabilising purposes. You will also find multi-ply compound sheets, a range of milling sheets, many colour variants for everyday and sports insoles, particularly environmentally friendly materials containing a proportion of walnut shells and cork, as well as materials with special properties that e.g. can absorb shearing forces.
The composite sheet Lunatec combi is the ideal base for an efficient manufacture of a diabetes-adapted footbed.
