Show your colours: Colour 07 is now called beige!

There is a modification that has not changed anything in our nora^®product range, but in our use of language. Because language is either including or excluding. To provide diversity we have critically examined the historically built colour descriptions from our catalog and decided to change something.

The classic colour 07 has been named skin or flesh-colour, although this indication only fits if one is referring to middle- or light-skinned people. But especially flesh-colour is as diverse as the people, in Germany, Europe and all over the world, where our nora^® materials are used. It’s about time to rename this colour shade and find an appropriate term that does not exclude anyone.

From now on our colour 07 is named beige. We are raising awareness for language, because we try to avoid exclusion in our diverse and colourful world. It does not change anything for the colour 07. We are changing all our sales materials as quickly as possible. The updated digital catalog is already available for download.
