New Product Range Brochure 2021/2022 with a few innovations...
It is hot off the press: The new product range brochure, the nora® Catalog with our materials made of EVA, rubber and lightcell rubber.
With that new nora® Product Range Brochure 2021/2022 comes another small change, which already catches the eye on the cover. We strategically renamed our business area as EVA solutions for health and industry (formally known as shoe components).
The reason for this is simple but sound: Our high-quality nora® materials consist mainly of EVA and are used today mainly in the healthcare sector (orthopaedic shoe engineering, prosthetics and orthotics, rehab) or in industry, and the intention is that this focus should be reflected in the name of the business area.
Historically, the shoe industry and later the orthopaedic shoe industry were the focus of corporate activities for many decades and the term “shoe components” covered the nora® range accurately over the years. But the shoe repair market is in decline and with the use of our EVA materials in orthopaedic engineering or in rehabilitation and various industries, the term “shoe components” was becoming increasingly inaccurate.
Focus on EVA innovation
In addition, the development of EVA materials with specific properties and particular approaches to solutions is the focus of our strategic activities, so that a realignment of the name was the obvious next step. The new name, EVA solutions for health and industry, is therefore the logical consequence of the development of the sales and market segment of nora® materials.
The 2021/2022 product range brochure contains all the new nora® materials that have been launched in the last two years, such as the Astro soling sheet with the new profiles 110 Geo or 111 Sunflower along with a few more product innovations, such as the milling sheet Lunatec CAD 30 in the colour 80, anthracite. The products are marked as NEW.
By the way, our shock absorbers nora® Supersorb and nora® Orthosorb are also available again! Unfortunately, there were supply difficulties for a long time for a particular raw material that is essential for these special materials, which meant that we nearly had to discontinue these two products. But the particular properties of these shock absorbers are in such high demand that we did everything we could to find a solution and are now in a position to deliver again.
