Product news: Astral soft is compact yet soft!

The soling sheet nora® Astral soft is compact, yet soft! Moreover, it is a slip- and abrasion-resistant compound with excellent bonding properties. This soling material is highly resilient and flexible, can be moulded optimally even to extreme deformations, and so offers a high level of walking comfort in the heel and sole areas. The coarse crepe profile presents itself as a timeless look. However, it is a decided fashion comeback.

Pictured is a handmade orthopaedic shoe with a peroneal cap of leather. The sole was built up of Lunasoft SL (4 mm), Lunasoft AL (10 mm), and an outsole of Astral soft (6 mm). This structure and the 6 mm thick outsole safeguard a high level of walking comfort, even under great stress.

It can be clearly seen on the outsole that Astral soft can be bonded very easily. Moreover, it is free of tension to dished edges. As a nondirectional profile, it can be used for many applications. Most importantly because of its excellent grinding and polishing properties.
