With that new nora\u00ae <\/sup>Product Range Brochure 2021\/2022 <\/strong>comes another small change, which already catches the eye on the cover. We <\/span>strategically renamed our business area as EVA solutions for health and industry <\/strong>(formally known as shoe components).<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text]The reason for this is simple but sound: Our high-quality nora<\/strong>\u00ae <\/sup>materials<\/strong> consist mainly of EVA and are used today mainly in the healthcare sector (orthopaedic shoe engineering, prosthetics and orthotics, rehab) or in industry<\/a>, and the intention is that this focus should be reflected in the name of the business area.<\/p>\n

Historically, the shoe industry and later the orthopaedic shoe<\/a> industry were the focus of corporate activities for many decades and the term \u201cshoe components\u201d covered the nora<\/strong>\u00ae<\/sup> range<\/strong> accurately over the years. But the shoe repair<\/a> market is in decline and with the use of our EVA materials in orthopaedic engineering or in rehabilitation and various industries, the term \u201cshoe components\u201d was becoming increasingly inaccurate.<\/p>\n

Focus on EVA innovation<\/h3>\n

In addition, the development<\/a> of EVA materials with specific properties and particular approaches to solutions is the focus of our strategic activities, so that a realignment of the name was the obvious next step. The new name, EVA solutions for health and industry<\/strong>, is therefore the logical consequence of the development of the sales and market segment of nora<\/strong>\u00ae <\/sup>materials. <\/strong>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_single_image image=”6766″ img_size=”full” onclick=”custom_link” img_link_target=”_blank” link=”https:\/\/nora-material.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/epaper\/epaper-nora_product_catalog_engl\/#0″]
